My research looks outward, towards environmental change and its consequences. My essays often begin closer to home: at a kitchen table, on an Italian street, during a difficult conversation or in the uncomfortable space between a plan and what actually happens.
I write about belonging, relationships, cultural differences, career uncertainty and the ways our surroundings affect how we live and think.
Some pieces are personal. Others examine climate, sustainability, and human behaviour. They belong together because both come from the same habit: paying attention to what changes around us and what those changes ask of people.
I write from what I have lived, observed, or researched. I do not always reach a neat answer. Often, writing is how I stay with the question a little longer.
